In this we prosper profit and pronounce

the gaudy bunting does announce.

In this we move stop and fail

the tears fall like spring hail.

In this we find the top the bottom

and on us death doth pounce.

Uncle

 Your father he had resolve,

the hills themselves could make it clear.

Problems yours never to be solved.

Mom she cared and never wavered,

the cold she knew would freeze your tears,

all the while the life you savored.

He had been left behind,

no vision to the past would focus.

The tree that's drawn, to you unkind.

I made a call as that's the way,

a conversation one way.

The sun will not shine on every day.

FUTURE

The past is present always with us mend it how we will
the tears are never sewn enough to last the wind all days

The footprints remain where we once stepped upon the sill
our feeble minds the visions failed to truth tell their own way

We hoped and dream the sentiment that all so want to share
though little difference would it make the failure all around

From moment of breath first this life is oft a dare
the flesh we pay will never way just the promised pound

CUTS

Cuts and scrapes can make me stronger, foolish lines did read.
My pain inside no more, longer the slices hardly bleed.
I used to wince but now I smile as the weapon works.
Every time I open skin laid back my insides now rebuked to bleed.
They leave me breathing red mouths open on me.
Wincing hurting watching peeking scars so plain to see.

Bag

A guest in every home I was.
A survival kit in every box.
A moment shared with self again.
A person that was still, there.
Kiss

Fleeting moments gathering fast,
quickly setting sun.
Urgent kisses frantic pressed,
lovely reply.

August

a rush from a cool breeze
a last sweat from the sun

moments taken to reflect
the daylights hastened run

a smiled moment shared
memories made in joy

Hope

The storm never stops, the peace never comes.
A world apart from ourselves we live.
No hopeful truths endure and rust,
not matter what they give.

Hope and lies they grow no matter,
what poison is brewed to beat.
The end is part of all beginnings,
though this ends not in defeat.

Year

Every year a new post. Every post another glance.

Winter

The movement of the sun had its moment, and returns. The daze pains more every annum.

Keep on

It is working, killing that fire. Keeping the flames from burning away all that is supposed to be real, read with two syllables. The reluctance has grown and its life is willing to crush the little lives. The good morning, the piece that hurts is hiding under a pile of flotsam in the corner. Working hard to make the days go fast, not giving up any of it. The fights I will never win. They are eclipsed by the fights I was scared to make.

The miserly misery of it all, with sunshine still shining across the field.

With concern overriding the revulsion, I set forth to endeavor to obtain the approval of the actions of the willing mind. Without an end in sight and the fading memories of the present being supplanted by the clarity of the past. The phenomena of the present fading while the past shines bright is the carnival of being.

Being and non-being are the basics. On the other end of the spectrum is understanding, though like running around the tree, the three motion to the place where a conscience sometimes dwells that there can be action without reaction. There can be movement without energy. The conservation across the entity does not allow for indication of the manners we measure. We make the movement without the conservation, the new energy  is potentiated by that which may be no more, it is powering away all that which cannot.

On the passage of time and the marking of it, the disconnect is the illusion of pertinence.

Thursday the 2013th year.

It is with a lack of certainty, though not a lack of sincerity that the whiling away of the moment seems complete.

Looking around and out the digital window to the world, storms are brewing. Action and inaction have met and fertilized the eggs of revolution. Never fertilized, they are cracked and whipped into omelettes of absurdity.

Little there is and little there isn't to truth these times not so tough.

Much may be and some that never will still tend to mutter their unpleasantries all the while.

Out of many one and from one to many the words are uttered to ears plugged against the maidens cry.

November 2012

With grim repose some await the next few days. Those that are aware of their surroundings have an opinion. Some that are aware of what they have been indoctrinated with have an opinion as well. Some have none. The final lesson is always the same, get informed, get involved, participate.

21th Century is here

There will be no change, the cost is absolute. There will be nothing more or less than now. All that is was or will be is held in the now. As long as the lights stay on.
In zen there is the now, the truth the be. Be.

The truth is what an actor knows best. As he they it know, the truth must be above all else.

The 21th century is.

The absolute is tantamount, why would it forgive. The forgiveness does not allow for the time to edit. There will be no edit. There will not be a need for history in the Be.

The 21th century is. We will not have an age pass again, the instant is necessary to allow us to transmit that which is. The bus has left where it could stand and idle. Where it never idled, it will be back again.

The earth will not know what preceded this now. This Be.

The 21th increment is my profit motive. It is my survival kit. It is the only way for me to create an age that can go beyond the deafening Be.

We Be now. The 21th increment.

Leaning on a traffic meter

Leaning on a traffic meter
we shared a pint of gin.
He was old and we were drunk.
We laughed and stumbled,
in the whirlpool of a drunken night.
Suddenly recalling our stumble
into each others smiling eyes.
We asked each other what was going on,
blacks and whites gone wrong.
A question seldom voiced,
to our colored opposite most able to answer.
We parted and I did not forget
the smile in our eyes.

 GOOD MORNING AMERICA

we are not sure at this time what happened in the middle east
last night.
the censors aren't done yet.

does it make much difference
when the richest nation in the world's children are afraid to
face up to their selves.

how long ago were the chinese run over by tanks?

but my dinner was from thailand
the shrimp was fresh

in Europe peasants still share the same bowl for dinner.
all the food in one pot, and the family coming to share.

I ate a bagel this morning
and leftover thai food.

and kids smoked dope before they left  for school this
morning

the press actually tries to bring skeletons out of peoples closets

and we all drive big cars,
and if we have a conscience,
we drive cars that don't use much gas.

in china they share bikes
in there is a bike out in front of the building when you leave you
have a ride to the next building
in america you have to schedule and ask a child to clean their room
in  some places even in america people don't know what a vacuum is

the college boards are not exams that mean a whole hell of alot.
but people often compare the amount of beer that they can drink
when they have nothing else to do.

we are bored because we stopped thinking years ago

Whether or knot

CIRRUS MEANS "CURL" - THESE ARE THE WISPY "MARE'S TAIL" CLOUDS.
CUMULUS MEANS "HEAP" - THESE CLOUDS ARE PUFFY, LIKE COTTONBALLS.
NIMBUS MEANS "RAINSTORM" - THESE ARE DARK RAIN CLOUDS.
STRATUS MEANS "SPREAD OUT" - THESE CLOUDS FORM FLAT LAYERS.

IF THE TOPS OF THE NEW CRESCENT MOON ARE TURNED UP, THE NEXT QUARTER WILL BE DRY. IF THE TIPS ARE TURNED DOWN, IT WILL BE WET.

COFFEE CLUES
WHEN BUBBLES IN YOUR COFFEE COLLECT IN THE CENTER OF THE CUP, EXPECT FAIR WEATHER. IF THEY FORM A RING OR CLING TO THE SIDES, EXPECT RAIN.
